Although Seloundo originates from England a Western Country, in essence it is inspired from the East and all before it. As such it is with great humility that we pick up the torch and hope in our endeavours in martial arts to bring credit and pride to all those before us who through there dedication and values have made martial arts what it is today.
Martial arts will never belong to one individual but to every single one of us who wish to explore its rich potential. Regardless if it has sprouted in several directions, like flowing streams leading to rivers, eventually all end up in the same sea.
Martial artists have the capability of leading by example, how you use your acquired power through martial arts will affect others deeper that you can imagine, it is therefore imperative to set the right example at all times regardless of who you are where you are and from which part of the world you are from.
What to look out for
Face with an array of choices, you will soon discover that other factors such as price, location, time, frequency etc, will also affect your decision. But most of all, you should ensure that the person who will be teaching you is qualified for the job. The list of qualifications and requirements for our Seloundo teachers will give you an idea. We haste to add that there are some excellent and passionate teachers out there, but because martial art is so fragmented, we do not speak with the same voice. Martial art training will have an indelible effect on you, for that reason it is imperative that you do your homework before making a decision.
